About Briony

Briony is a powerhouse in her field.

Her field is working with people who don’t think they want or need yoga.

With nearly a decade of teaching experience, Briony blends her delivery of yoga with her decade of working in International Crisis Management PR to deliver teachings that resonate with a high performance mindset.

Past public relations work saw Briony provide high level consultancy to Fortune 500 companies and CEO’s working in the Oil & Gas, Offshore and Maritime sectors around the world.

This unique experience allows her to speak the language of wellness within the context of intensity.

Briony is in her 7th season as yoga teacher at Premier League football club Brighton and Hove Albion, working across the First, Women’s and Academy teams. Players she has worked with include Alexis MacAllister, James Milner, Danny Welbeck, Adam Webster and Jason Steel amongst others.

She has furthered her extensive teaching experience within football through trainings with Sarah Ramsden, yoga teacher at Manchester United and Manchester City and is passionate about helping elite and non-elite athletes better integrate yoga into their strength, mobility and mental conditioning.

Briony also works more broadly in the wellness industry as Head of the Flow Team at Soho House, Brighton, delivering classes, programmes and wellness events at the house.

Through Breathe Bend Believe Retreats, Briony curates wellness events both under brand and on behalf of other brands and corporations, providing meaning full opportunities for people to relax, rest and reawaken their energy for life.

“I’ve worked in some of the most highly stressed environments you could imagine. Operating at that level takes something from you that it shouldn’t.

Peoples nervous systems are fried and they don’t know how to fix it.

Whether someone is a parent, an athlete, a CEO or a movie star, they are also human. Individuals need space to remind themselves of this in a world that is becoming increasingly 24/7 and dominated by doing.

The art of feeling gets lost. My work helps people find it again and use it to carve out a path in life that honours who they are and how they want to live. Its a unique but powerful process”.
