Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga

Pregnancy is a precious time for a mother to be.

9 months fly by with so many physical and mental changes and developments, it can be confusing to get your head around what exercise is beneficial for your ever changing body.

Yoga is the go to excercise in pregnancy, as the postures can be easily and safely tailored to your changing body and the emphasis on different breathing techniques helps create a relaxed mind and body throughout pregnancy and provides amazing preparation for labour.

Whether you are an activity junkie or completely new to exercise, Briony will work with you on a 1-2-1 basis, tailoring your movements to work in harmony with your unique body, bump and energy levels.

Fully qualified and in pre and postnatal yoga, Briony can also assist you in finding your way back to strength and mobility once your baby has arrived.

1-2-1 classes can be arranged around nap times, feeds and much needed rest, to help your body recover from birth and help reintroduce functional strengthening exercises, stretches and breathing techniques that specifically address the physical and mental challenges of new motherhood. Your little one can even join you on the mat or sleep by your side.
